Convert the wallpapers to PNG: $ convert --version Version: ImageMagick 6.6.0-4 2010-11-16 Q16 http://www.imagemagick.org $ cd ~/.fvwm/MixedThemePackage/themes $ find * -name 'wallpaper*.jpg' -print -exec convert -set filename:name "%d/%t" {} %[filename:name].png \; 5. Get the wallpapers for the green stripes and grey stripes theme from LouieMantia.com: $ unzip -v UnZip 6.00 of 20 April 2009, by Debian. Original by Info-ZIP. $ cd $ mkdir LouieMantia.com $ cd LouieMantia.com $ wget http://www.louiemantia.com/files/desktops/sgwa_w.zip $ unzip sgwa_w.zip Create the wallpaper of the green stripes theme: $ mkdir greenstripes $ cd greenstripes $ cp "../SG Wall/SG Striped Wallpaper #11.jpg" wallpaper-1920x1200.jpg $ convert wallpaper-1920x1200.jpg wallpaper-1920x1200.png $ convert -filter cubic -resize 1280x1024! wallpaper-1920x1200.png wallpaper-1280x1024.png $ mv -i wallpaper*.png ~/.fvwm/MixedThemePackage/themes/greenstripes/images/ $ cd .. Create the wallpaper of the grey stripes theme: $ mkdir greystripes $ cd greystripes $ cp "../SG Wall/SG Striped Wallpaper #14.jpg" wallpaper-1920x1200.jpg $ convert wallpaper-1920x1200.jpg wallpaper-1920x1200.png $ convert -filter cubic -resize 1280x1024! wallpaper-1920x1200.png wallpaper-1280x1024.png $ mv -i wallpaper*.png ~/.fvwm/MixedThemePackage/themes/greystripes/images/ $ cd .. Cleaning up: $ rm -rf "SG Wall" "__MACOSX" greenstripes greystripes 6. Select a theme. Create a link to .fvwm2rc: $ ln -s ~/.fvwm/MixedThemePackage/.fvwm2rc ~/.fvwm2rc Select a theme in .fvwm2rc: $ vim ~/.fvwm2rc $ cat ~/.fvwm2rc Read MixedThemePackage/themes/wheat/wheat-1920x1200.fvwm 7.
